volunteer opportunities
Throughout the year hopeXchange trains and mobilizes teams for long and short-term missions worldwide. Our short-term projects are called Mission:/Possible programmes. They are specially designed for those individuals who desire to have a missionary experience and can only make themselves available for a specific bracket of time. If you are a doctor, nurse, teacher or social worker, if you are skilled in a certain trade or wish to give your time and energy to helping others in need, Mission:/Possible might be for you!
Each project is designed to assist and encourage local groups and initiatives that will be continued when the project is completed. Each project begins with a pre-departure training that includes a variety of workshops on personal development, cultural awareness, global issues, spiritual reflections and recreational activities. The aim of this time is to equip the team with skills so that they can better work and understand the people they will be serving.
hopeXchange is extending an invitation to you to become part of a team effort, and join in the challenge of giving your share where it matters most.
